    You have to connect to your Ultimo by your PC using a software FTP.

    I spend some time changing this file to remove analog clock without any difference before realizing this was the default skin and that there was an other skin.xml in the ElelangeHD folder (the skin I actually use). But this is only managing main screen, for the lcd (or vfd but this must come from DM8K), the file is actually /etc/enigma2/skin-user.xml, search for the following tag and add the date widget from skin.xml, changing position, this would look something like that :
    Code:
    <screen name="StandbySummary" position="0,0" size="256,64" id="1">
            <widget source="global.CurrentTime" render="Label" position="20,22" size="113,32" font="VFD;40" halign="right" valign="center" transparent="1">
                <convert type="ClockToText">Format:%H:%M</convert>
            </widget>
            <widget source="global.CurrentTime" render="Label" position="135,20" zPosition="1" size="32,20" font="VFD;20" valign="center" transparent="1">
                <convert type="ClockToText">Format:%S</convert>
            </widget>
            <widget source="global.CurrentTime" render="Label" position="x,y" size="32,20" font="VFD;20" halign="center" transparent="1">
                <convert type="ClockToText">Format:%d.%m.%Y</convert>
            </widget>
            <widget source="session.RecordState" render="Pixmap" pixmap="vfd_icons/vfd_icon_rec.png" position="228,0" size="28,12">
                <convert type="ConditionalShowHide" />
            </widget>
        </screen>
    x,y position need to be debugged (and the others probably moved / resized to have room). Allways keep a copy of original file in the same folder in case something goes wrong (green screen at reboot), you can then quickly rename it (if rest of family wish to look tv).

    Can you please help me. I have loaded some movies in RMVB and AVI formates on my BH hard disk, but unable to play them, using the Media Player. How can I play those RMVB and AVI formates on my Ultimo. Please advise. Thanks.

    Hi, I am still waiting for a reply ? Are there any way to play the RMVB and AVI formates on my Ultimo. Or may be any driver to install or a plug-in. .... hoping for a response ASAP. Thanks.

    I do not know if there is any plugin, I am no expert with RMVB or AVI formats.

    All I can say, is that if they do not work in the media player or something like EMC then it is unlikely that the formats are supported.

    As I say I am no expert, so hopefully someone with more knowledge in this area can help you, but from what I do understand avi can use different codec's so some but not all maybe supported.

    Thanking you so much for responding. Is EMC a plug-in. Is it an additional programme I have to install? Do you think VLC can play it. Are there any newer VLC programme version, compatable with the BH Image that is playable on my Ultimo, as the current VLC installed on the Vu unplayable at all.

    Yeh EMC is a plugin (I believe it is on the addon server), Enhanced Media Center.

    As for VLC again sorry I can't comment as I don't know the answer as I don't use it.

    I am going to install this EMC in addon and try it. I will feed back. Appreciate so much your help. Thanks.

    I Tried the EMC to play the RMVB and AVI formates as advised. Great, I could play AVI formate only. The other formate is unplayable. Thanks so much for Mr Evo's help.

    Hello Guys!
    Need your support on the following problem. I've installed BH 1.7.2 without FPGA update, now I'm trying to update FPGA both ways - USB and Internet and getting error message " Can't find checksum file" or "Can't load MD5 file". What I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

    For Ultimo there is not actually avaiable any FPGA upgrade. When Vu+ releases a new upgrade for Ultimo, we publish the news here.

    @angelofsky1980:

    And when can we expect the new Black Hole?
    It is coming soon, or does it still take.

    Thanks for the info. My Ultimo can't lock some transponders, which my other receiver GI ST9196HD was able to do on the same connection. Any advise? Thanks in advance.

    BH team will release a new image when they are happy that it is needed.

    There is no point in making a new image if there is nothing new to add.
