Vu+ Zero 4K - a second USB

yes its me how work this probleme i try to splash_auto.bin with full hd 1920*1080 when he is bloked
I think this problem is burning the usb port
i try to work with 5 or 6 usb to flash it but there is no result
For this I wanted to work on the USB port that is at the bottom of the device

 

You can not use bottom usb port for flashing purpuse. The port is a storage bridge and can only be used to attach an external USB HDD
Port is working like an IDE/SATA Port with an USB connector only. Its an docking port for the PVR Kit you can buy as an extra function to your Zero 4K zapper.

And final... splash_auto.bin can only be in format 720x480 any other size want work.

 

Does it mean that there is no other solution just JTAG ?

 

you mean is it possible The motherboard is lost or socket usb ?

 

Kit socket is a mini IDE/Sata Bridgeport so if you connect a modded usb cable and keep your fingers cross you might
be able to flash through the port but most likely you will shortcut the bridge chip and kill some other chips along also

You can attache a usb stick to the regular usb port and go to device manager and see if it locates the stick
If no then you are in large trouble my friend.

 

you mean that, I should take it to an expert or send it to the company for repair

 

Thats a good ide let an expert help you to check if the brick (Chip) is broken
and maybe help you to do a full reflash if possible

Hello my friend. I want thank you so much because want so much use disk in my vu Zero4k but don't want pay lot of money for dock. So after check your post i make one USB adapter and connected my portable disk. This working amazing and only left one thing to be complete. This is only first test but working amazing
